Bus Hire
Flintwood offers a Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle for hire. The Mercedes Benz Sprinter is available to transport people with disabilities or the frail aged.
The Bus can be used for a variety of excursions including holidays, one off trips, daily use and special purpose. The bus is available for hire for individuals, community groups, families and service providers.
- Daily Fee is $40.00 and full fuel tank on return
- Only one passenger needs to be eligible to be able to hire the bus
- The vehicle is available 24 hours per day, however, pick up and returns must be between the hours of 8.00am – 4.00pm Monday to Friday unless prior arrangements have been made at the time of hire
- The Sprinter accommodates either: 9 passengers and 2 wheelchairs plus driver or 10 passengers and one wheelchair plus driver.
- All drivers must have an induction to the vehicle by a Flintwood staff member and will include training in the use of the hoist, Wheelchair Q’Straints and general information
# Inductions for drivers must be pre-booked by calling (02) 9630 1777
# Inductions may be carried out on the day of pick up - A standard C Class Drivers Licence is required
- The bus includes a Disabled Parking Label
- The Community Bus Application Form must be completed prior to any bookings:
